BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
BJJ focuses on grappling on the floor and features no striking. The techniques involve the students on the mat, with a heavy emphasis on positional control, strategy, drills, and live rolling, to help with your submissions and techniques.
A tremendous and dynamic combat sport that demands both physical prowess and great mental discipline. From a standing position, it involves techniques that allow you to lift and throw your opponents onto their backs.
Similar to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, in that a lot of the same positions, submissions, and techniques are used. This style of grappling combines elements from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Folkstyle/Freestyle/Greco Wrestling, and Judo. Only difference is there is no gi used during the training.
Great for beginners and advanced students who wish to learn proper striking and kickboxing techniques. Classes will include shadowboxing, footwork skills, pad, and various partner drills to improve timing and reflexes. Muay thai will develop your skills, along with all the physical, cardio, and self-defense benefits this class has to offer.
A combination of cross functional mixed martial arts training which consist of boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, judo and muay thai. It could be for just fitness or preparing for a physical combat sport for training that builds stamina, strength and discipline through the practice.
JIU-JITSU + FITNESS
A range of strength and conditioning , classes consisting of strength, mobility, endurance, power, speed, and agility. This type of training will improve cardio, balance and flexibility as well. It is also a fitness class for the hobbyist. Programming is run with timed WOD (workout of the day) stations or AMRAP (as many rounds as possible). Enjoy a full body workout!
